Wola.. who was the "Girl" in this conversation? Some chick in the store? Or someone you were with?

Either way, "whatever baby" is the appropriate response.

HOWEVER, DO make sure to NEVER to speak too loudly while on your cellphone, espcially in public places. while she did way over-react, it is everyone's responsibility to respect the commons we are in. If you are talking too loud, you are disturbing someone.

Tread softly.

Siddhartha Gautama

Nothing like some unrequested advice to try and steal a moment of clairity and growth from our host here. Perhaps treading softly should be learned before being taught. At least the basics.

Good Job Sol ! Stay close to the tree

To Siddhartha: Hahahahaha! Oh shit that's funny. Who, pray tell, are you? For you certainly are not in any way shape or form near the namesake you invoke.

Soli: I formulated my comment above in the way that you and I are used to interacting. I am sorry if your other guests here are offended by it. Now that you have a readership (hoorah! told you it would happen!), I shall no longer do so.

I know what you meant, and am happy for all the good things this voyage is bringing you. And I think I can trust that you know where I stand. (Right beside you buddy.)

I'll own up to the comment. I agree that it was no example of the ways of Sid, it was meant to be ironic :) Your response demonstrates an interesting reaction to criticism. Is a history of behavior justification for present behavior? Why is it that when our method is questioned we often defend our intent instead? Why is it that when criticizing one's method we often can't help but criticize their intent? We are constantly misinterpreted yet are quick to jump down someones throat based on our interpretation of what they said. I believe this is the fundamental problem with intra and inter-human relations. We have a world filled with good intent and bad methods but all we can see are the methods.
