Some days anyway...
A friend (Ed) sent me this:
Some Signs & Symptoms of Inner Peace:
A tendency to think and act spontaneously, rather than based on fears resulting from past experiences
An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment
A loss of interest in judging others
A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others
A loss of interest in conflict
A loss of ability to worry
Frequent overwhelming episodes of appreciation
Contented feelings of connectedness with others and with nature.
An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others, as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it
Frequent attacks of smiling
Much happiness and joy
Hmm.. yes.. essentially that's it...
"A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others"...
That's your big hurdle, I'd say. ;)
Stop wondering "why?"... for the little stuff at least... Hmmm so that becomes the problem.. differentiating between the what is worthy of brain cycles and what is not...
Learn to pick your fights.
Have the strength to accept what you cannot change, the courage to change what you cannot accept, and the widom to know one from the other...
:)
